Dreams do come true...

For years, I have felt the call/desire/need/leading to have a space where joy and love and light and women's empowerment can have a home. A community center of sorts. A place where women can gather for prayer, for encouragement, for business dreaming and learning, for collaboration, for friendship. Leadership can be a lonely road in the female world and I desperately wanted that place and space to come to fruition.

Prayer and circling prayer started in the Wedowee, Alabama area where we reside around 2023. Prayers in my own life started before that.

In the meantime I searched and implemented ways to get myself trained up and in motion, doing what I could without a space of my own - paddleboard training that can be done out of the Element I drove, yoga certified to be done in retreat settings, learning how to write the stories I tell, certified in business 101 classes for women entrepreneurs...all of these were doable without a space BUT IF there was a place where it could all come together, I imagined it would be so lovely.

Here we are in 2025 and God has delivered, in a super cool way. A space in town, on the list of places that "weren't available," looking overrun with neglected landscaping and borderline haunted with all the spiderwebs...a place on the water, with a boat ramp of its own, with a dock and boat slips and a boardwalk along the water's edge. The clubhouse of a neighborhood that had been abandoned yet is so so beautiful inside and out. I asked at the right time and the owners have been nothing but wonderful to work with and have opened the doors wide for The Wildflowers to have a home.

It's nothing short of a dream come true.

Add in new fitness and adventure partners that are coming to fruition and well, the dreaming has just begun. We have worked to get it ready for the summer season, inside and out. We will call it Four Winds, as the Holy Spirit breathes, God moves in the wind, the breeze flows from the water, and the same breath flows within us. Also the name just feels magical, doesn't it?

We will have a big grand opening before summer officially hits. For now we work on the space and give thanks as we go.

Tuesdays and Thursdays INDOOR HATHA YOGA for all levels 11 AM

Thursdays INDOOR VINYASA YOGA for all levels 5 PM

Saturdays OUTDOOR VINYASA YOGA for all levels 8:30 AM

SUP

Beginning mid May

Monday and Wednesday evenings SUNSET PADDLE AND YOGA intermediate level 5 - 7 PM

Saturdays SUP YOGA for all levels 10 - 11 AM

Saturdays INTRO TO SUP for beginners 11 AM - 12 PM
