What does it feel like to stretch and float in the rain?

It's a Monday. The texts roll in. Are we paddling tonight or will it be raining?
A quick check of the "forecast" says slight chance of rain.
We grab the boards, and gently glide up the creek as we catch up from the summer.
We find a quiet spot and lower ourselves onto the boards in seated pose. We start to gently breathe and stretch, the big wide boards kindly bearing our every move.
Within a few moments the thunder starts, off in the distance. We make the call to head back down the creek in case it shifts quickly.
The most lovely conversations, the ease of the afternoon lake, the gentle life-giving sounds of the lapping of the water on the boards. Sometimes we are silent as we take it all in.
As we get back near the clubhouse, the rain comes but in the kindest way possible. Gentle. Cooling. Refreshing. We decide to sit again and enjoy the poses of yoga that are low on the mat, in the rain. We move and stretch and breathe together as we float around the cove.
At the end of our two hours together, the rain stops. The gals lie back into corpse pose, fingers dangling in the water. I tie them off onto my board so that I can keep them close. They relax, they clear their minds, they connect with the sights and sounds around them. Then we focus our attention on what love looks like and receive all the love we can, absorb it into our very bodies.
We sit up, give thanks for the sunlight in the sunset, and emerge from the water in a different state.
Grounded. Tranquil. At peace.
So what does it feel like so stretch and float in the rain?
Magical.
